Marcia Ball at the CPAC on March 6th

The simple mention of a Louisiana or Texas roadhouse conjures up images of a crowded dancehall filled wall-to-wall with excited music fans moving to the sounds of a smoldering blend of swampy R&B, jumping blues and heart-wrenching ballads. Pianist/vocalist/songwriter Marcia Ball brings that spirit to every concert she plays and every song she records.

On Saturday, March 6, Marcia Ball brings that spirit to the Cedarburg PAC for a rare and highly anticipated evening of New Orleans R&B and driving Gulf Coast blues. Between her deeply emotive vocals and her incisive, often poignant songwriting, Ball is in a class by herself.

The Boston Herald says, “Piano pounding Marcia Ball plays masterful, red hot tracks from the Texas-Louisiana border. Her voice can break your heart with a ballad or break your back with a rocker.”

Very few performers have the ability to captivate audiences with such a powerful blend of styles and emotions. Experience Marcia Ball on the stage of the Cedarburg PAC on March 6 at 7:30 p.m. Call the box office at 262.376.6161 while tickets are still available! Individual tickets are $42.

Robert Post

On January 30, 2010 the talented actor, Robert Post thoroughly entertained our Cedarburg PAC audience.

Audience members were amazed with his artistry-he juggled, he was a mime, he was a comedian, a puppeteer. Truly we all questioned what our eyes we were seeing.

The following Monday he returned to our theater for two performances and a workshop attended by 500 middle school and high school students. In addition, several older adults from local senior residence centers were in the audience. It was a great mix with banter flying back and forth between the students, the seniors and Post.

His visit exemplified the fine entertainment, as well as educational, value that we offer our audience members.
